Looking to pick up a PS3 but only have component inputs on my TV and no stores in my area carry the multi cable with component for the PS3 everything is out of stock. Can I use my old PS2 cable or are the outputs on the PS3 different?

Your old ps2 component cable will work fine on the ps3.
