Hi, I currently don't want to pay the money for a Cinescope (2.35:1) projector, but I watch mostly moveis. I'm planning on getting the Sanyo Z5 and was considering getting a cinescope screen. Has anyone done this and just zoomed into the 2.35:1 to remove the blackened top and bottom? I'm also looking toward the future when Cinescope projectors are cheaper.

check the constant image height forum...you will want to use an anamorphic lens if you plan on doing this properly....

also, I don't think there are any 2.35 native PJ's...at least none that I know of....
