Well I am sick and tired of my tube television at this point. Too many problems with it. Color blobs, distortions to the outside..just not looking good and impressing.

So I am looking for a good LCD to upgrade to. I game a lot with it on xbox 360. So I need something with good resolution, at least 720p but I would rather have the ability to switch back and fourth between 720p and 1080i..but its not a HUGE deal. I know some LCDs have a scaler that can do that. Obviously, if there is one that meets all the requirements and is 1080p thats even better.

I obviously need one for a good contrast ratio since I will be playing games which pretty much requires good black levels. I also would need one with a good response time..or is that issue still even around? Obvioulsy I dont need a TON of inputs, but HDMI and other inputs would be nice.

I am looking to spend roughly 1600 or so.

Any suggestions?
