I try searching, but I haven't found a thread that fits my quesetion.
I have a projector and screen and I'm updating the speakers. Right now, I just have speakers that sit on various stands around the room. One stand is a pentium Pro computer. On each side of the screen are built in bookshelves. I would of course buy the best speakers I can afford for each setup. The matching center speaker would have to be similar, but it can't be a floorstanding speaker.
Is it better,
1. to buy bookshelf speakers and put them on a shelf,
2. put bookshelf speakers on a shelf and then enclose them with audio transparent cloth
3. cut the shelves so that I can fit a floorstanding speaker in the bookcase
4. put a floor standing speaker in front of the shelves
5. put a piece of wood across a shelf and put inwall speakers into that.
6. Do something else.
I currently have Infinity Beta 50s L/R and C300 Center and infinity inwall speakers for surrounds, but I never installed them. I also have the electronics on the shelves.
What would you do?
