Gentlemen,

I'm setting up my CIH with the Lumagen HDP. I'm wondering if ordered the wrong cable from monoprice.

The cable I received is DVI-D (single-link) to HDMI. Should I get my hands on a DVI-D (dual link) cable instead?

I tried using wikipedia.org but it's not clear to me.

Last thing, because the cable is Digital only does that mean I cannot pass out the video signal from my equipment that uses component?

Yes, the HDP will transcode from component to either RGB or YPbPr over DVI.

I'm fairly sure HDMI (pre 1.3) is capped at 165MHz so a single link cable should be fine.
