AFAIK the only current 2006 models with controllable overscan over HDMI are the Samsung HL-Sxx88W models (must use to service menu to disable) and the Westinghous HD Monitors.
Have any of you at CES 2007 found any new models with user controllable overscan or found any of the staff at any of the HDTV booths that can discuss why their models do not provide this capablility?
One would think with all of the new emmphesis on Media Center HDTV usage that the ability for true 1:1 pixel mapping over HDMI or Component would be a plus from a marketing point of view.

walford: I have a Brillian 6580iFB 1080p TV issued in 2005; it comes from the factory with 2% overscan which is user adjustable; it also has a 1:1 pixel mapping setting for viewing. Brillian is at CES this year. GLD, ABQ, NM
