Does the software used by AVS allow one to mark an entire thread as read by double-clicking on the envelope to the left of the thread title? If so, something is not working on my end because double-clicking has no effect on the color of the envelope or the unread messages in the threads.

Not at this time. The double-clicking of the envelope is a feature of a later version of the forum software which we hope to upgrade at some point.

Thanks Chris. Another forum which I frequent uses this feature, however it is somewhat finicky.

Well the forum is not marking the threads I read as read, I have to manually mark the forum as read to clear it.
