Although it isn't really a graphical masterpiece. I really like the gameplay here and it isn't as fake and dumb as that ea game that does the same thing (what's that game called again?). Overall, I think I'll grab it if I see it for 35 or so just for a party game

I haven't played the full 360 version yet, but I have it on Xbox and PS2, and enjoyed it. I played the PSP version as well, and thought it was just barely tolerable(I just hate tiny screens and all handhelds so my view is a little biased). I think the 360 version has Bill Romanowski too, not just LT.

Yeah my friends and I used to play the old blitz till the cows came home. We'd get a case of beer for each person and just play and play and drink and play. Then we'd wake up and do it all over again, only this time with a few boxes of pizza, significant acne, and bud mud you have to see to believe. Those were the days, now I work unfortunately, but I long to get fired again if only for a week :o

Kicking off and kicking a field goal is lame in fact it is beyond lame its horrendous...The camera angles suck, it has a good concept and I was excited after watching the tutorial video but once the game started I got into 45 seconds of quarter 1 and deleted it...Pure garbage, its a shame to because the Blitz series was the only football franchise I enjoyed to play back at the arcades and on the DC.

Nice concept really if they would actually work to improve it as opposed to "what edgier stuff can we put in this year"...No real teams or not if the Blitz was as solid as it was on the DC I seriously doubt I would be playing any EA football games.

Only EA can have real teams anyway. They signed an exclusive with the NFL.

As of right now it is only available for gold members

It sucks. It plays so fast its over before I can even do anything. I thought BLITZ was the NBA JAM of football games, with crazy hits, over-the-top moves....this is just Madden with bad language. :P

Game moves too fast for my tastes....it was start play..quick glance up and pass that might complete. Boom, more play-picking. This is a game?

You guys are too used to your sim based games. Where have your quick twitch gaming skills gone? Sure it's fast, but so are those cheerleaders and that is part of what makes this game such a hoot! You guys havent even seen the other half of the game where you can send hookers over to the opposing team's hotel to make them woozy for the game. Now that's entertainment you can't pass up. Like I said, 35 bucks and I'm in!

i thought this one sucked..badly. It was actually too much of a simulation.

I miss the elbow drops and suplexes from the old game, along with the zany commentary.

Funny..you'd think the game would get crazier AFTER they lost the nfl license, but it's actually gotten crappier.

I loved Blitz to death and played this on the xbox for a while. It's no blitz. A mild amount of fun for a while, but it gets old pretty fast.

The 360 version doesn't seem to offer anything new other than barely improved visuals. I'd liek to see them turn this game in to something great, but this version isn't it.

if it's not the same as the original arcade game... it's just not blitz :D

not THAT was a game I could play ad nausium, and thanks to my MAME cabinet in development, I'll be able to enjoy it again :)

NBA Jam is basically my most favorite MAME game :)

alright, I got a chance to pick this game up for 9 bucks yesterday. I am a fan! Quick games, huge hits, bad language, snapped bones and hot girls. This is a great party game that is well worth what I paid for it. I will agree that the kicking game is dumb as all hell, but nobody kicks field goals in blitz so it's really only the kickoffs. The injury are funny as hell and the "juicing" scenes are beyond hilarious.

Yeah $9 sounds about what it is worth.

I thought this game was fun and nice for a change of pace. What I'd really like is a FULL version of the game - drafts, full stats, a full league with at least most of the features you see in a Madden game.

I think there's a new one coming out toward the end of the year. Maybe they'll expand upon what they already have. The kicking game needs to be fixed, that's for sure

If it was a little smoother and a lot deeper I would be all over a new version.

Yeah, I like it too. Fast games, fun, cursing, scantily dressed women. I reserve Cod 4, this game, and saints row for parties.
