Logging in with Bluetooth?

Is there a way to log in with a BT keyboard? I can't seem to get it going until after I log in USB.

This is counterproductive to what I wish to accomplish. I need BT on as my permanent keys+mouse.

I don't have any issues at all logging into my mini with my Apple bt keyboard and mouse.

Dave, how did you try to pair the BT devices with it? Every Mac I've tried to use BT devices with (a G4 mini, 2 Powerbooks and a Macbook closed lid) has had BT built-in, and was seamless, so I don't know what extra hoops you have to go through. You can always use VNC to control it, as well.

There is a System Preference such that if it cannot detect a KBD/Mouse after some time after login, it will start the pairing dialogues automatically so you can then pair...

whether this works from the very 1st login I do not know. Whether this works with multi-user, I do not know (my Mini boots directly into my single-user login with no typing required)
