I have had my CRT for about one year. I just got FIOS Fiber Optic TV and it looks great the same or maybe better than over the air HD antenna. Will all this talk about HDMI being the digital and best connection; I don't see any difference with the FIOS HD Box running 1080I whether on component or HDMI. I have messed with the settings of each input and I can't see an improvement. Maybe with the naked eye it's unnoticable. I'm confused? Where is the better in hdmi when I can't the difference. HDMI additional settings are at colors space: Ycc:4:4:4 and RGB. I have tried both and they don't make a difference. Help, don't know to much about two types of connections. I do see a difference with my Oppo 971 upconvert DVD player but that is obvious because it only upconverts through DVI to Hdmi or TV, no upconvert or anything progressive on component.
