Anyone owning one of these first gen HD ready sets and looking for a pro calibration? I just had my 2000 Pioneer Elite 510-Pro repaired. It had the Flash/Shutdown problem. It was a simple resolder of the power board and now the set looks amazing again. I would like to get it properly calibrated though. I found a top notch guy (MR BOB here on the forums) but he lives in CA. He's retired, but still does many repairs along with calibrations. I would like to find other people here needing his services and we could split his airfare and restore our sets to a thing of beauty again. My set only needs to be calibrated, but still on closeups, rivals anything I've seen (DLP, LCD,Plasma). Besides, it seems that every new tech model has many problems. Just look thru these forums and see for yourself. From everything I've read, the Pioneer Elites will last Approx. 15 years when taken care of. I paid alot for my set when it was new, and intend on keeping it. Lets get Mr BOB to the windy city, and enjoy our HD sets again. Any others feel this way??
