i just purchased a panasonic 61" tv pt61lcx65. and i also purchased this particular dvd player because as of right now i dont have an hdtv source to make sure everything is ok with the tv. that being said i read reviews that this player does an outstanding job upconverting to 1080i. my qwuestion is with divx playback. if the divx video is of the hd variety, how does this player handle it? will it broadcast it over the hdmi output? the instruction manual is very vague. any help would be great. thanks.
