Once again NBC has decide to do regional broadcasts of the NHL. I am assuming that only one of the broadcasts will be in HD. Like last year I will most likely get the secondary game in SD which I won't watch. I am curious to see what everyone else thinks.

Personally, I've never understood the point of regional broadcasts like this. We already get the local team all the time, why not give us a national game? It'd be cheaper to produce and helps them consolidate their talent into just the one feed.

Can't figure out how to vote in this one. I will get the Flyers game in HD on my OTA channel, which is the one I generally want to watch anyway, but the other two SD games are also available via NHL Center Ice, so I will likely watch a bit of all three, so I don't 'only want to watch the HD game anyway'.
top 2 games will be in hd

I'm a hockey freak, i got my NHL Center Ice in SD everynight, so it will be nothing new to me
Not sure how to respond, it's all about the teams for me. I will watch teams I want to see in SD over teams I don't care about in HD every time. Which is why I unfortunately don't see much of HDNet, what's the deal with never showing the Sabres or Devils? Sabres showings so far: 1, Devils showings so far: 0, yet they have Tampa Bay, the Flyers and Blackhawks on all the time. If anyone from HDNet is listening, I love what I have seen of your telecasts but please try to spread your games out and not show the same teams every week. It does look like their schedule gets better the rest of the season though.
