I have a samsung hp-r5052 about 15 months old. Just recently, the bottom half of the screen will go black at random times for a few seconds. More recently it lasts longer. If you turn the unit off and then back on it will be ok but then after awhile the bottom half will go black again. What gives?

Thanks, JoeIf i'm not mistaken, most plasma TVs have a video board that controls the top half of the screen and another that controls the bottom half. Sometimes one of those boards goes bad and has to be replaced (not cheap). Sounds like yours is starting to go bad . . . .
