I currently own a Sony KDS-R50XBR1 SXRD in my living room set up. After my basement is completed I'm torn between these two sets:

Hitatchi 42HDS69
Samsung LN-S4095D

I really like plasma displays but what big advantage would the LCD Sammy give me, beside it being 1080p? I have HD DVD & Blu-ray hooked up to my Sony. I may add an HD DVD player to the basement. How many members are happy with their 768p plasma while viewing HD DVD or Blu-ray? Thanks!
