Samsung HPS5053 50" plasma - After correcting the greyscale on this set, I checked the color decoding. As far as I can tell there is NO WAY to adjust this AT ALL! Service mode or user mode! If it were perfect from the factory, I could forgive it, but it's WAY WRONG!
Equip used: ColorPro CP5000 system, Sony Vaio 2Ghz Laptop, Avia, DVE verified.
Tint errors in all 3 color channels. The user tint control is greyed out in all resolutions on component and HDMI inputs. I had to back the color from 50% down to 30% to make it less noticable. 30 years experience repairing TV's doesn't count for much these days.

I just pick the same tv up, 2 days ago.. I dont think I have a problem like that. I'll have to get home and check. I'm really new to all this plasma stuff..

Can you really notice the Tint issues? My coloring seems to be really good.. And I'm only running SD cable.. The Incredibles running through my standard DVD player looked awesome..

Any suggestions on tweaking my setting would be great..

I'm curious to see if my Tint is grayed out.. Let you know in 8 hours.
