I am going to get a IN72. The after rebate price of $469 is too good to pass on. Some questions first. The PJ will be about 15-20 feet from screen and will be ceiling mounted. Seats will be approx 12-20 feet(that is what i have to play with) from screen. I have 7ft ceilings. I have alot of windows but will try light control. I was thinking of going with a eletric screen of between 100-106 inches. Elite screens has several HDTV screens at a good price. Any comments on this setup? Thanks. Oh. I will be feeding HD Cable through HDMI and DVD through upconverting DVD player through HDMI. I am going to need a HDMI "hub" to use a computer term.

u need to b aware of the SCREEN OFFSET
Infocus says it is 28% for the IN72
this is a percentage of the SCREEN HEIGHT
so for a 106in diag or 92x52in screen
Offset = about 14in
add that to the Ceiling Mount drop (mine is 7in)
and Screen Height
subtract from your TOTAL ceiling height

7ft = 84in - 7 - 14 - 52 = 11in from bottom of floor

recommended Eye sight level is 1/3 up from Bottom of Screen
iam using one of the Chinese 106in screens (white) looks really good

work-arounds:
buy or fabricate a more Flush Ceiling mount
get another PJ with smaller OffSet %
get another PJ with LENS-SHIFT
raise your ceiling (just kidding)

Angle down PJ thus creating KeyStone (Trapezoidal Picture) and
use PJ KeyStone corrective Adjustments-----NOT RECOMMENDED

If the projector is mounted too low because of the screen offset requirement, angle the projector slightly upwards, and pull the bottom of the screen back. It doesn't take much, and you can correct a considerable offset this way without using any keystone adjustment. The image will be square, and the very slightly angled screen looks cool.

Keystone adjustment isn't so bad. I'd definitely try keystone adjustment before tilting the screen. How can you possibly have the entire picture in focus when the screen is tilted? Experiment and go with whichever method you prefer.

Will a smaller screen help like a 96 in?

Drop Ceiling to floor is 79" (Mount is recessed above drop ceiling)
My image bottom is 23" from the floor.
Top of image is 9-1/2" from ceiling
Screen is 47"x84"x96" Diag.
Eyeball sweet spot is 1/3 above bottom of screen when seated.
IN72 C/Lens is 75-1/2" from floor (Angled up very slight)

Just get a short mount (mine's DIY) 6" or less.
