My HD1000 is due to arrive tomorrow, and I'm trying to get everything figured out before then. Until I get my HDMI DVD player, I will have 2 component video hookups. If I use the VGA input for one of the component video hookups, is the quality the same as the regular component input on HD1000? I have the VGA/component adapter from my X1 to use. Thanks.

it should be the same...except the vga will probably only except a progressive feed.

Thanks. I do plan on using progressive scan. I can switch with my receiver, but I'd rather hook up direct, as long as the quality is the same.
