I used the calculator on ProjectorCentral.com and got a throw distance of over 20 feet for a 103" diagonal. Is this for real or am I missing something?

You'll have to convert from meters to feet and interpolate for 103" screen, but basically you'll have something like a 10-20' range. tcutter 01-16-07, 03:43 PM Thank you. I'll be mounting it in a 13 foot room and did not want to have to compromise on my screen size. Daniel Hutnicki 01-16-07, 06:12 PM it has a pretty wide throw range. I cant remeber the exact number but its something likfe 1.4 - 2.4 gmanhdtv 01-16-07, 06:39 PM Throw range is 1.4 to 2.8 5mark 01-16-07, 07:12 PM Thank you. Anyone in a small square room who wants to go bigger on their screen size might want to consider a diagonal configuration. In my approx 12x12 room, I'll be able to use the RS1 on an 8ft wide screen(2.35:1). It wouldn't have been close to working with a traditional wall mount. I even wound up with a bonus of extra seating space. If you're interested in how I mounted my screen in a corner, let me know. |
