Was dubbing over the new 24 episodes when it crashed. It went into recover and when it came back up, it was not responsive.

I unplugged the unit and now it's looking to reformat my HDD.

Unplugged again, and same result.

Unit is now totally unresponsive and only awaiting my confirmation to reformat HDD.

Looking to maintain a few shows off the HDD before I reformat.

Is it possible?

Never mind.

Having it unplugged for about 20 hours got it back up again. Files are still there.

(Unplugging it for 10 min then 20 min) initially didn't do it.

Happy camper now. :)
