i forgot to mention this in my last post. i back up my dvds with a toshiba 5970 to a sima ct2 'enhancer' to a toshiba dr2 recorder on dvd-r thu s video. they come out crystal clear.
it seems to me that the ct-2 takes out a very small amount of the black level. is there a better enhancer less than $200? i watch on pan 500u projector so disc pq is a must.
