I'm a huge HD newbie and also an avsforums newbie. Is there a forum to discuss prices/deals anywhere? I notice most forums say "no price talk". I'm trying to figure out the best places to shop on the net..

Sorry, AVS Forum is not the place for you then if you are looking for deals.

You see, we are a support site and as such we ask for deals NOT to be posted for all that does is brings out the sales people and spamers and thus no real content for help or support.

Suggest you use places like PriceGrabber.com for example for pricing on a product.

Actually, I've been lurking here for quite some time and this is definitely the place for me. I just figured a site like this would have threads on where people bought their stuff as well.. I can certainly get that info off of other sites also. Not that big of a deal..
