I have a Acer AT3720 LCD TV (37inch, came out in October 2006 in Europe, low Price), so far everything is fine except playing the PS2, would a Iscan Pro enhance my picture (i don't care about lag)?

Good luck, save for some newer games most playstation 2 games are interlaced - being in europe that'd be what, 520i? it's gonna look bad... looks like crap on my LCD TV as well...
