Hello all,

I own a Mitsubishi WS-55815 that I bought a year or so ago. I have finally remodeled the basement, and have started setting up a home theater.

While watching the set, it has become very apparent that the TV does not handle shadows or night scenes very well. It's very hard to see.

I did calibrate with the Avia DVDs, but they didn't help much. I suppose I could just turn the brightness up, but then things start looking washed out.

Is this something that an ISF Calibration could fix?
If so, any recommendations for the Twin Cities area?

Thanks in advance!

Although calibration DVDs generally do a good job, they are not as good as professional calibrations.

I also noticed this problem with my HL-S4666W. I don't know if it is a general problem with the TV or it needs a new bulb but recently it appears that dark scenes are wayyy to dark and it is hard to see what is going on in certan areas. It is kind of dissapointing, but I don't remember it like this when I first bought it.
