Hi, I've recently purchased a Sangean HDR-1 table radio and I'm very pleased wth it. However, I'm having two problems with HD radio:

1. The HD2 or HD3 stations have weaker signals and are harder to receive than the HD1 broadcasts.

2. Sometimes I can't receive certain HD stations in the HD format, and although the signal is strong, I receive it in regular analog. I don't know if this is because the stations themselves are having technical problems or what.

Right now, I think the broadcasters need to work on their HD signals, and offer a better product for us.

Can those of you who might help offer any comments?

I have the same problem with some stations. I think it's the broadcasters and not the HD Tuner.

Agreed. The reception of the Sangean HDR-1, both AM and FM, is excellent. The problem is that a couple of the HD stations in my area, Wash DC, are erratic and intermittent.
