Does the PS3 (60 GB) support memory stick pro duo cards? I have a Sony camera that uses one and I tried putting it in to view photos, but I couldn't get it read - and wasn't sure how hard I need to stick it in.

I can get an old (longer) memory stick and SD cards recognized okay.

I use my sony duo pro in it all the time.

The slot on the right is for the sony cameras card.
Push it in till it "Clicks" & the LED light next to the slot lights up.

I believe You need to use an adaptor to use a ProDuo card with the PS3. It works on mine anyway, I haven't tried putting it in without the adaptor.

Yea looking closer it says memory stick / Pro on that slot, not pro duo.

That's what happens when your eyes go bad! LOL!

You do need the adapter, I was just looking at my pics last night off my Pro Duo.

I better try mine again, I hate having to find the adapter every time.

No adapter required. Thanks, I just assumed it was needed since it worked. I was afraid to push it in too far and get it stuck.

hmmm, now I'm a bit confused - is the adapter required?

I don't have one (I think it came with the card, but I can't find it!) and I'm also afraid of pushing the card in too far...

thanks for the replies.

Nope it is not required, the Duo only slides in a little ways so it will not get stuck.
