Hi,

My G70 has as input 2 the standard IFB40 with some type of round connector. I would like to be able to change RGBVH on 5 BNC's (from breakout cable) into this connector somehow.

(Unless I can find a supercheap IFB10 or IFB11 which would be another way to get it done.)

Can anyone comment on trying to interface with the IFB40? Are there parts I can order that will make it easy for me to covert the 5 BNC's of a breakout cable to this round connector?

Any help appreciated,.. Thanks and Good Luck,

Brian

The IFB-40 can be forced to act as a Video, S-video or RGBHV input. But it requires butchering a switcher cable or modding the IFB-40 itself.

IFB-11's are pretty cheap and a lot less stuffing around. But if you have a switcher cable or the 14 pin plug I should be able to tell you the pin outs required and how to fool the card into thinking your inputting RGBHV.

Thanks,

I've got the pin outs in the manual. But,.. not the 14 pin cable and I don't feel like fabricating anything.

I think I'm just going to keep my eyes peeled for an IFB10, IFB11 or IFB12.

Thanks,

Brian
