I bought the Creative X-Fi Elite Pro sound card and I want to use it to decode. To do this it would seem my only option is to buy Creative's home theater cable (http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=13&subcategory=55&product=14309). This is a negative for me as the cable is clearly consumer grade and it won't be long enough to run from my PC to my receiver.
I want to make the cable myself. It would appear to use balanced (TRS) 3.5mm jacks that break out into 3 RCA cables. Where can I find these as a DIY connector?
Thanks in advance!

oops, balanced cables are three conductor, the creative cables are four conductor. How did other people deal with this?

Well one of the cables uses TRS the other 2 are not, and TRS will not work. There is nothing wrong with those cables. Radio Shack sells them as well. I did a search for you at Markertek for just the 1/8 ends but they dont stock them.

I initially looked at Markertek and assumed all hope was lost but posted here anyway. I will mail you an entire box full of my gratitude.
