Note: It’s important that most who respond to this have matching loudspeakers for the fronts, no mismatching, only matching fronts please! :)

I like to know how what matching loudspeakers your using and what AVR or AVP amplifiers etc, but how do you compensate to hear the most complex sound that is placed in the centre channel without cursing the same problem with the left and right channels.

I agree, you need to calibrate your sound with an SPL meter and one of those calibration DVD's like DVE or ARIA. Some of the newer receivers like my Pioneer Elite will have a microphone and builtin acoustic level meter that will do the job.
In fact its so acurate I dont even use my SPL meter anymore.

Whenever I get the itch to move my speakers a little here and there, I recalibrate.
