Hello, I tried in the Subwoofer forum with no response so gonna try here. any correction tables needed for the "NEW RS Analog SPL"----> using the Rives audio test CD 2 , tracks 32-62 ? Sorry if i have missed a post on the NEW spl but just looking for a good explination in Layman's terms plz. Or i also have the DVE CD but have not used it for Audio. On your problem with the files: you don't need Excel to read newrsanalog.cal, that's an ASCII text file, which you can open with a text editor such as Notepad (in Microsoft Windows).

If you are looking for free (and legal :) ) software that can read and write Excel spreadsheet files, as well as other popular MS Office file formats including Word (.doc) and PowerPoint (.ppt), just head over to Open Office:

Thanx alot, Notepad worked fine. I see #'s from 10 to 105 only, So would i assume 110 and up are fine on the spl ?
