shopping for an HDMI cable to fish through the wall to my plasma about 40' away

a 50' run from www.bluejeanscable.com is only $96

while a 49.2' run from www.bettercables.com is $350

i'm all for "getting what you pay for" but wondered what everyone here thought

thanks!

Bluejeans cable makes their cables with the best wire and connectors that are not snakeoil. IMO, there is no reason to spend any more than what they charge.

digital connections either get there or they don't, no interference issues generally. go with blue jeans or monoprice.

I just bought a 25ft HDMI cable from monoprice for about $35 shipped. The cable is as thick as my ring finger!

Monoprice all the way! Build quality is great.

Bought a 50 foot, 22 gauge HDMI cable to hook up my cable box from the basement theater to the upstairs plasma. Works perfectly and is CL2 listed for in-wall. Price was about $65.00.
