I'm helping with an under-construction church auditorium. The plans call for 2 projectors each pointing at an angled wall. To get the throw distances correct, the left projector points at an angled wall on the right and the right projector points at an angled wall on the left. The ligth beams cross.
In Ghostbusters, Dr. Venkman said "Don't cross the beams!" I can't think of any reason why this would be true in projection, but am wondering if anyone knows a reason this shouldn't be done.
Will this work or will this cause a 100' marshmallow man to appear?
