Hi...
I work for a popular electronics company in their Service Department, specifically with parts.
Very frequently I will field calls from Consumers looking for parts for vintage equipment. If the parts can no longer be supplied I will often refer people to this forum as a resource for obtaining additional information in hopes they will either A) find a 3rd party resource for supplying generic parts that others have used or B) possibly find another AVS forum member who possesses the same unit and could possibly help in supplying the part in need.
Most often this is the case with vintage receivers and turntables.
I know there is a receiver section but I don't see a forum that would be appropriate for posting questions about turntables?
Perhaps either a section specifically for turntables should be created or perhaps a section for vintage/ classic audio equipment could be created?
This forum has been a great resource to me so I'd like to continue referring people here in hopes that it will also be a resource to them.
Thank you.
