i'm getting a 42" plasma soon and just need a little help picking exactly which 1 is better.
i have seen them all in stores but alot of times the signal sucks at our local shops here. i can get them all for around the same price so that isnt a issue.
Panasonic TH-42PX60U
Hitachi 42HDS69
Vizio P42HDTV
your thoughts are welcome
thank you

a little more info
connected devices: xbox 360, satellite (hd soon), dvd, and computer.
location: living room with windows
hours in use: 8hrs a day
If they're all about the same price, the Panny easily has the best picture out of the bunch ot my eyes. If you've got the coin, I really thought the Pioneer 42" 768P (forget the model number) looked stellar everytime I saw it.

This would be the order I would buy these models:
1. Panasonic TH-42PX60U
2. Hitachi 42HDS69
3. Vizio P42HDTV
I own the Panny 42PX60U and I am not being biased. If the price on the Hitachi 42HDD69 was nearly the same cost on when I bought the 42PX60U then I would consider buying it. The one thing that the 42PX60U does well is its black level. However, it does have banding and when you get very close to the screen (even on HD material) you will notice video noise. However, at a 10' ~12' seating position you will not notice the video noise.
By the way I have had my 42PX60U for at least 3 months.

Stay away from Vizio, I returned 2 of them before I got my Panny. Their quality control is horrid.
