Ok here is the problem I get a green vertical bar when the TV is connected to my Samsung HDMI DVD player, the bar isn't present when using the RGB connections. It will also cause a screen drift when switching sources to the other HDMI component which is a Scientific STB. Now this bar will sometimes go away by switching resolutions from 480 to 720 to 1080 but I notice the screen is also drifting to the right in the DVD menus. I can get this green bar to disappear in 480 and 1080 formats although I still have the off centered DVD menus but the green bar is always present and as large as 4 inches in width in 720 format. I am wondering if this is something I can fix in the service menu or do I need to return this TV for an exchange as it is only 3 weeks old. BTW the manufactured date is Dec 2006 so I dont know if a new firmware is available to fix this. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I don't want to move this TV without its original packing back to the retailer unless it is in fact a faulty set.
EDIT: One other thing happens sometimes when I source over to cable from the DVD and it is on a station that is 480 the whole screen is a terrible bright green tint and the only way to make it go away is to tune to an HD stataion that is 1080i ?
