Does anyone know why my G-90 has begun to display "overcorrection!" when it starts up and runs? I couldn't find any information on this in the Service Manual.

Also - and for general interest: I was able to get the G90 up and running with a new SRAM chip without burning in any of the original information (serial number, hours used, etc). I simply needed to reload the system through the Rs232 using PCupload, and then reload the factory settings on the new chip by depressing switch 202 on the YA board for 5 seconds. Good news for those afraid of losing their system when the onboard lithium battery dies.

Best - Ed

Did you try a factory reset?

Cliff:
Yes - I've tried a factory reset, as well as a service reset to no avail. I have no idea where this particular problem comes from. OVERCORRECTION! is not listed anywheres. Best - Ed
