I haven't heard anyone make mention of this feature.

If you go into the Enhanced Mode there is something called Film Maker's Q&A. You can select a question and the director then replies with the answer. It's pretty cool and seems to work well on my PS3.

Anyone know if this is java?

It says that it is an advanced java feature in the insert, I will try it on my BDP-S1 to see. I doubt it will work though. It says will somthing about it only working on the PS3.

This feature apparently ONLY works with the PS3. Owners of all other first-gen BD players - even the ones that cost $1500 - are SOL.

Further proof that the PS3 is the best BD player on the market right now.

Is this really a cool feature? I don't get why they couldn't have done this normally - what's so hard about having a list of questions that correspond to chapter stops in a featurette?

Or is this like "U-Control" where the ability to ask a question pops up during the movie and you're just clicking to see a clip?

Here is what Hi-Def Digest had to say about this feature:

In a surprise feature, there is one exclusive extra, the "Filmmaker Q&A" with director Andrew Davis. Since the Blu-ray spec is currently unable to facilitate true "picture-in-picture" video commentaries, which require support for separate video streams in-player, Disney has created a sort of user-activated version for 'The Guardian.' In fact, the feature is so complex there is an insert in the disc on how to use it. The Q&A material is available only during select parts of the movie, though unfortunately it is not all that different from what you can get a bit easier in the audio commentary. However, it is exciting to see studios trying out new things on Blu-ray. (Note: Due to technical limitations, this feature is only accessible to those playing the disc on a PlayStation 3 or a Blu-ray-equipped PC.)

You can see the list of questions, pick up one of them and you'll hear the answer of it during feature playback (you won't leave from the feature).

This one was bought wit the new PS3 [Cool!]

The video is awsum quality, even can see the hair pieces.

But QA& can figure this one out. Every question I would ask cannot be answered. Only some question can be answered. Not the ones I want.

There are a few video clips as well. It goes out to the video and then resumes the feature.
