I have the Comcast Motorola 6412 III DVR with the standard URC-1067ABG1 remote. I have hidden the Moto 6412 behind doors and I wanted an inexpensive way to still control it. I have tried the Terk LeaFrog Remote Extender and now the Radio Shack remote extenders and both have the same issue. The are setup correctly and it works fine as long as I'm within about 3 ft of the receiver. Once I step back none of the commands work although I do see the receiver lightup just like it does when I'm upclose.

Has anyone used either one of these with Motorola 6412 remote? Any suggestions?
