Howver there are published correction tables, here and at hometheatershack.com for the current models and some prior versions. No, they don't have flat response curve, but measuring basic SPL balance and setting reference cal level is all that most users will ever do with it. Perhaps the point is that if the OP ever goes beyond basic measurements, sticking with a RS meter does have some benefits - the published correction factors. To that I wholeheartedly agree. |
