I'm trying to hook up my Wii through my manual component switcher to my InFocus 4805 projector.

When I do so I don't' get any image just a message that says "Signal out of rage"

If I hook it up directly to the projector I"m able to get the image, but unfortunatley I need to be able to go through the switcher.

This is frustrating. Any ideas?

have you tried other ports on the switch? it sounds like you might need better cables going to the projector. you are getting your signal dropped so a thicker gauge cable would probably help.

I'd hate to have to rewire everything but perhaps that's it. Could it possibly be the switcher? It works fine for my other sources

I answered on the 4805 forum also, but I'll repeat it here. Yes, it could be the switch. I've read various reports of some switches being incompatibile with the Wii. To make sure, temporarily hook the Wii up directly to the 4805 to find out.

The Wii looks great on the 4805, especially since the 4805 is native 480p. I love it. Excite Truck at 106" is pretty cool. :cool:

I'm having switch issues also, but I get blurry images. Direct connect is fine.

Why? I'm not sure.
