?

They don't use any specific camera. No provider does. Some are native HD video, but most Discovery HD programs are filmed and transferred to HD video.

As I understand it Discovery don't make their own shows as such - i.e. they don't have an in-house production arm of producers, directors etc. - and instead they are a publisher, and commission shows from independent producers, acquire them once they have been made, or co-produce with other broadcasters.

As a result Discovery themselves don't have cameras to make shows with, instead they have technical delivery standards, dictating the quality of the material delivered, and the amount of non-HD or HDV material contained in an HD show.

This means that many different types of HD camera, film camera/stock and telecine, and tape formats can be used, as dictated by the budget and requirements of the shoot.

Some shows may be shot all on a single model of Sony HD Cam, some may mix Sony HD Cam, Panasonic Varicam, HDV, SD upconversion, 35mm and 16mm film all in the same show, using each format on-merit.
