I'm toying with the idea of replacing my Pioneer Elite 64" HDTV with a 720p or newer 1080p projector for use as an everyday TV.

First some technical background:

> Throw distance for Projector - 14 - 17 feet
> Day Time Ambient Light - During Day, Not Well Controlled, but moderate to low
> Night Time Light - Moderate to well controlled
> Diagonal Screen Size: Prefer 100 Inch Minimum and ideally up to 120 Inches

Obviously this scenario involves compromises.. So I'd like suggestions for fulfilling the following objectives:

1. Daytime tv viewing in ambient light
2. Daytime movie viewing in moderate to controlled light

3. Night time TV Viewing in Moderate to controlled light
4. Night time movie viewing in controlled light

Lastly, if you also have opinions on the right screen(s) for suporting your projector recommendation, please let me know.

Panasonic PT-AX100 was made for that. Nothing else comes close to its ambient light versatility.
