Outwater has a lot of that kind of stuff and they will send you a huge free catalog. I haven't ordered from them but I think some have said you have to place a large order. I think others haven't had a problem with small orders. Maybe it's who you talk to there.

If you want them locally, you should be able to find stuff like that at a bar and billiards supply, but they tend to be rather expensive.

If Galley rail is Brit for bar rail I did some searching a few weeks back and here are some of the links I saved.

I'm planning a brushed stainless foot rail myself, keep me posted if you find a good source

Here are the things I'm looking at

Big,

Those links will come in handy when I start do the bar foor rail. I had bookmarked this (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=10323)

Basically I want to have a suspended shelf with rails around edges to put glasses.

You can just about see what I mean in this picture.

Don't hold your breath. I've been a customer using there cumbersome online system. I've tried ordering their catolog twice last year. Once online and another time on the phone when I placed an order. I'm still waiting.

This is exactly what I used for my foot rail. Very nice stuff and the folks at Lawrence Metal were great to work with.

BTW...I used the Contemporary brackets and I'm really glad I did. These make no contact with the floor, so it's very easy to vacuum close to the bar.

Pic of foot rail in use (http://www.eastlawnrecords.com/images/bar_4.jpg) (bad lighting in the pic, it is actually stainless steel, not brass)

As Big says, their website is cumbersome.

Another place I was looking at:

Found these from a Kitchen remodel I did in UK about 15 years ago - only got 7 tho

Think I remember where I got them so will get father-in-law to see if shop still exists. There is also a place in Reston thats does all sorts off hardware so I'll swing by.

If anyone knows of an online source tho please advise.

Mark

Nice find - I had been googling for "Galley Rails", "Shelf Rails" and "Bar Rails" etc but didn't think of using "Fence"

This may work out perfect with all the different lengths.

How about that!

That stuff isn't cheap maybe some more googling now that you have the Mfgrs name and part ID.
