Go as BIG as you can. (Ok, I didn't make a mistake per se - the 120" I wanted was out of stock, so I got the 106" screen. The 120 is finally back in stock. Ordering today or tomorrow. If I can return my 106, I will. If not, I'll either ebay it or keep it around as a spare.) But still - go as BIG as you can! VanMark 01-28-07, 11:39 AM H X W = 45" X 80" 92" diagonal True, but don't forget that there is a 2" black border around most screens. If you're tight for space GISMO1 you'll need to take this into consideration. Most 92" screens will be 84" wide with the border included. As for height, if you're getting a retractable screen, you'll have to add in the neighborhood of 8" on the top of the screen (border + case) and maybe 4" on the bottom (border + bottom bar) so the total dimensions will likely be 57" x 84". Just FYI! :) Mark GISMO1 01-28-07, 03:10 PM VANMARK THANK YOU!! i am a little tight on space. CMRA 01-28-07, 03:43 PM VANMARK THANK YOU!! i am a little tight on space. I'm a big fan of 2.35:1 screens. (4'x10') Your environment appears to put a damper on that. No borders and side masking for 16x9. The EZ way in my book. No icky gray/black bars to distract either. A 3'x7.2' may do it for you. |
