i am just about to order this projector in a few weeks I have 2 questions my ceiling is right about 8 feet will that be ok for mounting this projector and the screen wall will be about 11-12 feet away will i be able to have a 92 inch screen? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

I also have the same projector and screen on order. According to UPS will be delivered 1/31 next week!!!

Go to the Mitsubishi site and they have a calculator where you enter in the model #, ceiling ht., etc and it will tell you the rest.

When you enter your ceiling ht and screen size if the distance it shows the projector must be at is too far or too close then you could try altering the ceiling ht. you put in and find out if using a ceiling mount with an extension of a few inches would get the figures where you want them.

Everybody on AVS says to avoid keystoning and any other artificial compsensation in getting the pic up as they all compromise quality.

I have the exact same room setup as you will have and it works great. The projector is about 10" from the ceiling with the bottom of the screen being around 30" from the floor.
