Got back from my local (Kitchener, Ontario) Futureshop today, after yet another splurging. Their computers say they finally have Crank in transit and should be hitting the shelves Mon/Tues of this week. Just a heads up to anyone that might have been looking for a copy, like myself. :D

I lost patience and ordered from Amazon.com. I looked at the DVD and it said it was a Maple Pictures film in Canada so I thought the Blu-ray may never make it...

I just checked and the cheapest place is futureshop @ $25.99CDN.

The FS in Ajax had three on Friday but they are not on the shelf (don't know why not). Anyway, I asked one of sales guys and he went to some storage area and brought one out. For some reason, he said that you have to ask for this title. I didn't ask him why since I was jsut happy to get my copy. BTW, the PQ on this one is everything they say it is; awesome!! FYI, The HMV on Yonge and Dundas, Toronto, had several copies but their price is substantially higher.

Guys who picked it up from Future Shop, does it come with the sleeve? I've noticed that Descent at Best buy doesn't have the sleeve.

why does it take so long for canada to get new bd releases?? this movie was released jan. 10 for this format, and there are still problems in finding a copy of it here in vancouver...

I was at futureshop 2 times yesturday. The first time no Crank on BD, second time 2 copies had mysteriously appeared on the shelf. Btw this is in Halifax

I counted 14 copies at the Future shop here in Ottawa last night!
They must think it will be a great seller. Price was $25.99

I bought my copy at FS at the Warden/Eglinton location on Thursday. There was only 2 there.

It does come with the sleeve.

Picked my copy up at Best Buy on Friday. Price matched to Future Shop no problem. Now I just need to get a Blu-Ray player! LOL.

Nope, i actually didn't buy it. I rented the flick earlier in the week and to be honest ... i think its a horrible film.

Saw it in Calgary Sunridge FS just a couple of hours ago and I think it does have the sleeve. Didn't pick it up for myself though.

Agree 100%. Simply awful, no matter how good it looks in HD.

I wish renting was an option, but none of my local blockbusters/rogers carry any Blu-rays.
