I nead a new TV 50" and over under $6000 1080p is a must and it must do it over VGA and Component as well as the ovious HDMI but 1080p VGA and Component is a must for the XBOX 360 and other things as well

I have looked and all I come up with is a lot of different answers people say it can and others say it can but it is not full screen using VGA it is a little less than that

I want to avoid this and all the sales people know nothing even the ones I talked to at the Maginolia Best Buy all said different things about the same TV about 1080p over VGA/Component and they arent to cool with me hooking up a 360 to all TV's just to see

some help please maybe a list with checks in it of TV

THE ONLY Television that I know of that accepts 1080P from the Xbox 360 via Component and VGA is the Samsung HL-Sxx87/88 series. For that money, Id reccomend getting the HL-S6188W or waiting till the new LED models come out.

I saw an LED Samsung in the store. It was not impressive picture, certainly when compared to the other RPTVS in the store.

yea on the HT Guies pod cast they said the newer LED DLP's look much better than the first gen ones and the guies from samsung said they admit the first ones arent as good as the new one for them to say that it must be a huge difference that anyone's grandma could see or else they wouldn't of said antthing because the majority of people wouldnt see it so that is why I thihk it will be way better
