I've been trying to settle on a touch screen solution for my home automation install. I'd like to utilize 2 or 3 wireless UMPCs or similar as my touchscreen controllers (using a PC client for my controller, leveraging a wireless LAN)

I would much prefer to have these screens docked in the wall charging most of the time, but maintain the flexibilty of using their wireless functionality.

I've seen the viewsonic models, but not sure if the Creston Mount/dock works with the standard viewsonic form factor or not (is the airpanel that Crestron private labels any different than an standard airpanel?) Could I buy a standard Airpanel and a Creston Mount? (I'm not using a Crestron contoller)

What about UMPCs - anyone seen a flush wall mount for any of the models on the market? I've love to find something for the Samsung.

Any other solutions/ideas? Favorite devices?

I've been looking and reading, but can't seem to find something that will work.

thanks in advance!

In the "for the cheap folks" category, i'm using a wallmount Fujitsu 3400 (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=643635). There's also folks who've flushmounted these by cutting larger holes in the sheetrock.

It is clearly a level below most of what you see out there, probably 2 levels below a UMPC. I know folks have been happy with the Samsung Q1 UMPC, and there's folks out there producing wallmount panels for them.

Anyone found wallmounts for the Samsung UMPC? How about mounts for any of the other UMPCs?

One thread about producing wall & dockmounts for the Samsung (http://www.charmedquark.com/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=3271&highlight=samsung).
