I am looking at a 50-52" Rear Projection TV. The following are the 3 or so i have been looking at.

Mitsubishi WD-52631
Samsung HL-S5087W
Samsung HL-S5088W
Sony SXRD 50A2000

What is the difference between the Samsun 5087 and 5088? No one has been able to tell me yet. What are the pros and cons of each of these sets? It will be used for regular TV channels, HD, Movies, and as a computer monitor for gaming. Which of these would be the best fit for these uses?

the 88 model was ranked #1 in the latest home theater magazine shootout

i don't have the magazine. I am not really interested in the 88 since it is significantly more expensive than the 87 ($600 more). How did the Mits and Sony compare to the Samsung 5087?

The 88 has a few more features like PIP and a cable card slot. Waste of money if you ask me. I have the 5687W didn't see the point of spending more money on the 88 for stuff I'd never use.
