Please read http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=796231 first also you must vote in all 4 polls and total of 4 polls must be 100%

None wins means that HD disks don’t ever take off they never reach the majority they both become niche and eventually die off as formats

I had to make a decision on what to put as choices with 10 choices I could not have 0 and 100% and for this poll I decided to include 100% instead of 0% I guessed most did not assume 100% chance of HD being with us. If that was what you meant with the vote in the other three threads with polls please mentione it in a post here

I think the odds are both will survive but one will have a 65-75% share of the market and the other will have a 25-35% share of the market for HD movies sales.

THD disks will make it a bit tough to determine market share, but the numbers of stand alone players will make the format winner clear.

First format to $199 players wins 70% of the market.

I voted

10% Blu-ray only
20% HD DVD only
70% both
00% none

Here I voted 10% (meaning 10% or less ie 0%)

I also would have voted 0%. From the results, looks like it was a mistake to include 100% instead of 0%.

agree and mentioned already. On the other hand some have voted for 100% now so either way some would not have been able to give their opinion. That is also why I said just mention it in this thread

I would have voted for 0% on this one as well. I'll just abstain from this one.
